Services Our Veterinarian in Gardner Offers

Our veterinarian in Gardner recommends that most pets have at least one pet wellness exam each year, but specialty breeds, senior pets and those with a chronic condition may require more frequent visits. However, we’re here for more than check-ups. At Oakbrook Animal Hospital, we offer an array of services including:

  • Core and Non-Core Vaccinations
  • Spay and Neuter Procedures
  • Pet Dental Care
  • Nutritional Consultations
  • Boarding and Grooming
  • Microchipping
  • Critical Care
  • Surgical Procedures

We even offer online refills for your pet prescriptions, so all you have to do is put in your request online, and we’ll have your furry friend's medications waiting for you at our office for pick up!

What to Expect on Your First Visit at Oakbrook Animal Hospital

Our goal is to make your visit as pleasant as possible, and to streamline your initial visit—regardless of the purpose—we make several forms available online in our New Patient Center. In this area of our website, you can fill out your personal information, your pet’s medical history and even sign consent forms for dental treatments, boarding, grooming, sedation and surgical procedures.

Armed with all the information from your forms and what we learn from our thorough personal consultation with you, we’ll begin your pet wellness exam. Our physical pet wellness exams include weighing your pet and examining their teeth, coat, eyes, skin and ears. Our medical staff will listen to your pets breathing and heart rate, and we may even take a stool or blood sample if necessary to rule our certain conditions.
